PERFORMANCE VIDEO WORK
With an extensive experience in contemporary dance, Corneliu Ganea, the founder of Unframed Visuals, has shifted into filming and making videos for the art and performance industry.
Unframed Visuals is working with a variety of art institutions and artists in The Netherlands, where we film after movies for events, promotional videos of artists and institutions, testimonials, trailers of performances, dance workshops and full length performance registrations for archiving. Filming dance and choreography needs a specific understanding on how to frame the dancer in all its beauty, when to cut a movement, how to edit a dance sequence and how to put it all together in an organic video.
I love making trailers and promotional videos of dance performances with the understanding that videos need to encapsulate the esssence of the performance in a 1 minute video. I work closely with the makers to identify what they wish to communicate with their audience, which are the most important scenes, which sounds and music to use, length of video, the mood, graphics and credits.
Depending on the requirements of the client I can provide a variety of equipment, a multi-camera crew and variety of sound recording options. These videos range in length between 1-90 minutes long.
