FLOW

DansBlok in collaboration with the beautiful Museum De Lakenhal has created a dance film about sheets, the movement of fabric, expression and seduction.

‘FLOW’ premiered in September 2019 during the 25th Kunstroute Leiden in the recently reopened Museum De Lakenhal. DansBlok also provided a performance during this special evening.are with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

A DEVIL OF A TIME

A Devil Of A Time was inspired by the film "The Wall" from pink Floyd, and dressed up during our world pandemic. The film intends to explore a feeling where the temporal structure has lost landmark. Disconnected from the spatial and temporal link to reality - as known- the experienced landmark structure lost, creates in one, a loss of control. Our protagonist experiences will pull us into a colourful symphony, filled with passion, longing, fears, surprises, sensuality, death and rock&roll - in which our dancers transcend.

"Between Dream And Reality, A Broken Time Structure In Which Our Protagonist Is Forced To Reflect On His Elusive Need Of Control ; As The Clock Ticks, The Inception Starts."

RITE

In nature is where I come home. It’s the place where I can ground myself, come back to my foundation and find peace within me. It’s also the place that gives me endless inspiration and where my creative ideas bloom.
With this video I want to bring an ode to my home.

SKIN

The concept that came out of my fascination for the human’s back and the exploration on how to communicate with it. Stretching the skin and let the back expand and breath in different directions.
As a photographer I often have visuals in my mind or come across places that give the need to explore it.
